I'd like to be running the Ogden Marathon or the Berryman Trail Marathon this Saturday but neither work out so limiting my self to marathons that are within driving distance from Charleston or could be part of a trip to Utah and are not on Sunday, here's my list of what I'm looking at for the rest of the year.
- Traverse City Marathon, Traverse City, MI. May 23: Looks like a good one but I'm not ready.
- Sunburst Marathon, South Bend, IN. June 6: Potentially hot and boring. Probably won't be ready for it either. We'll see.
- Bear Lake Marathon, Garden City, UT or Utah Valley Marathon, Provo UT. June 13: Not good time for work, church, etc. so I'll leave Bear Lake to the cisco fish Utah Valley to the Mormon purist who wouldn't approve of my pre- during- and post- consumption of Dr. Pepper. There's also the Marathon to Marathon marathon in Marathon, IA., great name but it's too far a drive, and the Maryville Marathon, Maryville, MO ditto on the drive.
- Deseret News Marathon, Salt Lake City, UT. July 24th: Are you kidding me?
- Grand Island Trail Marathon in Munising, MI, July 25th. This one might be well worth the drive but it's sold out already for this year.
- Fallsburg Marathon, Lowell, MI. August, 15. Maybe, maybe...I love that registration checks are to be made out to "Old Farts Running Club"
- Mesa Falls Marathon, Ashton, ID or Park City Marathon, August 22. Ben and Courtney will be visiting Illinois that week! Would love to do Mesa Falls some year, however.
- Top of Utah Marathon, Logan, UT or Air Force Marathon, Dayton, OH. September 19. I likely will run one of these depending on air fare, etc.
- If it were closer, I'd definitely run the Baltimore Marathon, on October, 10.
- Indianapolis Marathon, Lawrence, IN. October 17. Been there. Done that. Not repeat-worthy.
- Monumental Marathon, Indianapolis, IN. November 7. Maybe but not likely since it's so close to Tecumseh. I'm not Bill, after all.
- Tecumseh Trail Marathon, Bloomington, IN. December 5. Of course. It's a tradition.
Any other suggestions?

Run all you want where ever you want but don't expect either of your aged parents to run with you. We are having all of the challenges we can handle already.
TOU... I'm hoping I can do it, I'll be more inspired if your sign up.
